Enclosed Circuit Breaker

Enclosed Circuit Breaker

Enclosed circuit breakers are a solution for nearly every application requiring a means of disconnect. Our enclosed circuit breakers are a quick ship solution to the factory lead times regarding disconnects. When quoting we will need to know: amperage, voltage, enclosure type, and if a neutral is required. All components are individually UL rated. ECBs are Service Entrance Rated with standard components*.

ECB’s are molded case circuit breakers in a NEMA rated enclosure. Our standard ECBs are NEMA 1/3R/4/12 rated. We also can provide stainless steel enclosures (304 and 316) and explosion proof. We have the ability to customize these specifically to your needs. We have stock in flange and rotary style handle mechanisms. Breakers are available from 100A - 1200A frames.

MCXP can provide solutions to specialty request too such as:

  • 100% Rated Breakers
  • Ground Fault Protection
  • Arc Flash Reduction Maintenance System (ERMS/RELT/DAS/ARMS).
  • NEMA 7/9 (Classified Area)
  • Accessories (Shunt trip, Undervoltage trip, Aux, Alarm)
Combination Starters

Combination Starters

Combination starters provide necessary function in any large power distribution system. Combination starters are found in multiple different applications to control motor loads such as: pumps, motors, etc… A combination starter provides four important functions in motor control all into a single enclosure: Motor starter, line disconnect functions, short circuit protection, and mechanical protection.

Combination starters can provide the user with a starter (contactor), thermal overload, short circuit protection, and a means of disconnect into a single NEMA rated enclosure. These panels offer short circuit protection in the form of a manual motor starter, circuit breaker, or fusible disconnect. In addition, push buttons, indicator lights, and other accessories are available to customize as needed. Combination starters are extremely versatile since they are also highly modifiable and come in a variety of configurations, combinations, and designs. We offer NEMA sizes 1 - 5 and IEC based on full load amps.

MCXP can provide solutions for a wide range of applications:

  • Heat Pumps
  • Water Pumps
  • Conveyor Belts
  • Blowers
  • Fans
Custom Controls

Custom Controls

Custom control can be anything inside of an enclosure. This gives you the versatility of choosing each and every component inside. We have access to all major manufacturers. This allows us to customize the panel to provide the exact solution for your application. These projects can be as simple as a pump panel or complex as a programmed PLC. MCXP is UL 508A certified and committed to delivering mission critical projects.

The major advantages of choosing MCXP are our skills, qualifications, and engineered designs necessary to provide solutions to your problem. Our in-house engineering services will manage the project to ensure each component complies with the requests in order to function as an integrated solution.

Applications

  • Carwashes
  • Lift Stations
  • WasteWater Blowers
  • PLC Panels
  • Controls in NEMA 7/9 enclosures
  • Pump panels
  • Lighting
  • Automated control panels
  • Centrifuge panels
  • Heat trace panels
Motor Control Centers

Motor Control Centers

Motor control centers contain control components used to manage and protect the electric motors and panels in the system. An MCC is composed of three sections: the vertical bus, the horizontal bus, and the control section. It is an assembly of multiple enclosed cubicles or buckets within the larger vertical structure. The control section can include: circuit breakers, starters/soft starters, overload relays, VFD’s, etc… The practical application of MCC allows for breakers, starters, panels, and controls to be consolidated in a central control room. The installation of a motor control center saves time, resources, and money. With the products being located in one location, they are easier to troubleshoot, manage, and maintain.

At MCXP Solutions we have an enormous inventory of new and legacy products. This gives us the capability to accommodate any MCC needs you may have. Whether the project requires a replacement bucket to a new structure or a replacement bucket to an obsolete structure, MCXP is prepared to add value to all motor control demands.

Switchboards

Switchboards

A switchboard is used to safely distribute electrical current throughout commercial and industrial facilities. It is the main component of an electrical system that distributes electrical power utilizing circuit breakers. A switchboard can be a single large breaker/disconnect or a combination of multiple breakers that includes switches and control of circuits fed from the switchboards. They protect electrical systems against overloads, over-current, and faults with coordinated distribution devices. Switchboards compartmentalize electrical components to maintain distribution protection downstream.

MCXP is a UL-891 facility. We manufacture switchboards to the highest standard of safety and quality in mind. Our boards are custom-built and available from 1600A to 4000A. These switchboards are built to your electrical specifications. Contact MCXP to discuss your switchboard quick ship needs.

MCXP can provide specialty upgrades such as:

  • Amp Meter
  • Arc Flash Reduction Maintenance System (ERMS/RELT/DAS/ARMS).
  • CT’s
  • PT’s
  • TVSS/SPD
Transfer Switches

Transfer Switches

A low-voltage transfer switch provides a reliable means of transferring essential load connections between primary and alternate sources of electrical power. Transfer switches can either be automatic or manual. An automatic transfer switch or ATS is a self-acting, intelligent power device that is programmed to control electrical power. An ATS’s purpose is to ensure the continuous delivery of power from one of two available power sources to the connected load. A manual transfer switch (MTS) serves the same purpose, however; there is no motor operator or solenoid to initiate transfer, so the action must take place manually by operating the manual handle on the enclosure. Data centers, hospitals, factories and a wide range of other facility types that require continuous or near-continuous uptime.

MCXP is equipped with the technology and expertise to deliver a safe and reliable operation of all transfer switches. Service entrance designs are available upon request as well as additions necessary for your electrical requirements. Contact us to discuss your switching needs.
